Press conference is scheduled Tuesday Dec 1^st at 12:00.

The Media center is near the main venue with a covered tunnel connecting to the main competition pool.

Media center will be equipped with: Wifi services, ISDN high speed internet positions, Fax and Copy machines, Refreshment corner with coffee, tea, soft drinks and cookies.

Lockers will be provided at the media center.

Press conference location will be at the rear of the media center.

16 Media positions are available upon request for TV stations as follows:

A. FULLY EQUIPPED AND SERVICED POSITIONS
This a commentary control area/control room separate from the commentary position so that circuits between the commentary position and the foreign country destination can be intercepted by Host Broadcaster staff for circuit establishment, monitoring and circuit failure reasons. These commentary positions can be used by Radio and Television. These fully serviced (by Host Broadcaster staff) positions are provided with:

• commentary control area/control room with related service, where applicable
• a commentary unit (for 4-wire connection or ISDN codec)
• technical assistance
• one table
• three chairs
• one monitor (minimum 14 inch / 36 cm) with vision and international sound
• minimum of two headsets
• mixed international sound with commentary (optional)
• one additional monitor (minimum 14 inch /36 cm) when on-screen data is provided
• Director's talkback (optional at no cost)
• Bizzphone (optional with cost of installation and call charges to be invoiced to the foreign broadcaster by the Host Broadcaster or telecom operator as appropriate)

B. PARTIALLY EQUIPPED AND SERVICED POSITIONS
This is where the circuit interconnection between the commentary position and the foreign country destination is direct. There is no commentary control area/control room for circuit interception as is the case with the fully serviced position. These commentary positions are for use with ISDN. They can be used by Radio and Television.
These partially serviced (by Host Broadcaster staff) positions are provided with:

• technical assistance
• one table
• three chairs
• one monitor (minimum 14 inch / 36 cm) with vision and international sound
• two headsets (not B3 since all equipment provided by foreign broadcaster)
• one additional monitor (minimum 14 inch / 36 cm) when on-screen data is provided
• Bizzphone (optional with cost of installation and call charges invoiced by the Host Broadcaster or telecom operator as appropriate)

C. RADIO REPORTING POSITIONS
These positions are in principal for reporting on events and not for continuous commentary.
They accommodate one person (one chair) sharing a monitor with up to two other persons. If a bizzphone or an ISDN line are request all costs of installation and call charges will be invoiced by the Host Broadcaster or telecom operator as appropriate.
The primary use of these positions is by radio.

Accreditation Requests
Local accreditation center is located west of the competition pool at the Team House local hostel. Accreditations can be picked up at that location.

The hotel’s facilities include free wireless internet, children’s playground and a synagogue. The kitchen serves kosher fare, and there is a bar on site.
